Hey everyone! New things are on the horizon. Finally ordered a new capture device to actually get gaming footage. This creates two possibilities and one improvement. The improvement is that with this capture device (Hauppauge PVR2) I can have better quality pictures for the written reviews! No more standard definition pics with screen tearing or interlace lines, hopefully. The two possibilities are that with a better capture device I can start uploading Lets Plays/Gameplay footage and Video Reviews to go along with the written reviews. This’ll be a new path to trek, but I’m sure it’ll bring great results, but with video reviews thrown into the bunch the time between reviews might be increased a bit. Also, I’m still working on updating the look of the site via background/header. That might also take a while. Besides this news I also picked up a few new games this week. They include:
Syphon Filter 2 (PS)
Hey everyone! Another week, another slew of games added to the collection. This week I picked up a few games which include:
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem (Gamecube)
Every now and then life gets a bit busier than normal, and this week has been one of those new weeks. Juggling social life, work, gaming, writing, and keeping this blog is still manageable but some of my future reviews may be a bit more delayed than they have been. Honestly I’ve been trying to stay within my due dates for the past few months even if it hasn’t appeared that way, but besides the recent time crunch in daily schedule I picked up three new games this week:
Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to catch up on some reviews and get through some recent games lately. I’ll have a review for Proteus shortly published and then a review for the Last of Us: Left Behind DLC. I’m also fixing some of the time heist’s blog layout as well as trying to get a better background and header set up. This week I have a big bundle of games that I picked up. At the beginning of the week I found Tales of Symphonia (GC) and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (GC) at my local Dimple Records. Then throughout the week I picked up Super Smash Bros. Melee (GC), inFamous (PS3), inFamous 2 (PS3), System Shock (PC), System Shock 2 (PC), Black Mesa (PC), Dungeon Keeper (PC), and the Last of Us: Left Behind DLC (PS3). Finally beefing up my Gamecube collection as it is still fairly small. Though there are more games added to the backlog, I’ll still attempt to get through each of them. Hope everyone is having a great three day weekend!!!
Hey everyone, this weekend was my first time attending the Sundance Film Festival and it was an interesting experience. That’s putting it bluntly, it was pretty fun. I had never really been to the state of Utah but the sights, the snow, and the mountains were a pleasant sight to take in. Arriving in Utah around 7 A.M. on Saturday, my Sundance adventure would truly begin a few hours later. That’s not to say the adventure hadn’t already started because driving for an hour in Silent Hill like fog that freezes upon contact with your windshield is an adventure in itself.
Saturday morning the first movie my friends and I attended was Whiplash (2014) which starred mostly unknown actors except for J.K. Simmons. The film was a good film to start off Sundance as it was a little all over the place with a really strong finale. J.K. Simmons really does a great job of keeping the audience entertained with his humorous smart-ass comments mixed with a slight crazed demeanor.
Hey everyone again, since the last post I’ve picked up another batch of new additions to the backlog as well as completed Gears of War 2 (xbox 360) and muddled around in both Ilomilo & A Kingdom For Keflings. I’ve missed out on posting new additions since the last post and have picked up several new games since that time. This week I picked up Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (N64) and Abadox: The Deadly Inner War (NES) from Dimple Records. In weeks prior I also picked up Civilization V (Steam), Double Dragon II: The Revenge (NES), F-Zero X (N64), Syphon Filter (PS), Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! (PS), Jet Force Gemini (N64), Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (Xbox), Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell (Xbox), Syberia (Xbox), Gyromite (NES), Hydlide (NES), and Star Wars Episode I: Racer (N64). It’s been a good few weeks!

Hey everyone, haven’t done a post in a while. Been taking a break from the blog and will soon have new posts of reviews and podcast episodes for you all to enjoy. In the mean time I have several games that I’ve picked up this week and have added to the backlog. Eventually I’ll get to them and will hopefully have reviews up as well! This week I went to my local Dimple Records and was ecstatic when I found a few N64 games I had played but never owned. Them being Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium, and Pokemon Stadium 2. It was like a Pokemon jackpot, but sadly I had to pass up on Pokemon Stadium 2 because of the price and the amount of cash I had on me at the time. Later on in the week I jumped on a few deals from the PSN store and snagged some games that were on my wishlist.
Pokemon Snap (N64)
Pokemon Stadium (N64)
Gex 64: Enter the Gecko (N64)
Hydrophobia: Prophecy (PSN)
Noby Noby Boy (PSN)
Critter Crunch (PSN)
